Black with a touch of roses...

When in doubt, wear black - is what I always say. And being in doubt as to the state of the weather, I went for black just to feel relatively safe, and chic. The small roses on the black top, paired with black pearls and  rose in the necklace just make it all come together with the brown leather on the belt, handbag and sandals.

Quando em dúvida, optar por preto - é o que eu sempre digo. E estando em dúvida relativamente ao tempo, optei por preto apenas para me sentir relativamente segura, e chic. As pequenas rosas no top preto, combinadas com as pérolas negras e rosa do colar fazem com que tudo se conjugue na utilização de cabedal castanho para o cinto, mala e sapatos.

The Primark deception.

If everytime I went into Primark I found myself surrounded by the outfits they feature in their lookbooks I would be one happy woman. I have just had a peek of their Autumn Winter 2011/2012 lookbook, and I want to buy EVERYTHING. Seeing that their prices are usually quite affordable, it figures that I should be able to actually buy everything, right? Wrong. If you thought differentely, you obviously do not know Primark Portugal. It must be the shop where fug comes to die, really. I have never seen ONE piece from their lookbooks at sale here in Portugal, not one. Wait, wait, I lie. You know this summer's peacock ring? Yep, saw that one, and nearly bought it, but it didn't come in my size. So, I will post some outfits from their upcoming season colection for your delight, but if you're thinking you can go and buy these pieces in Portugal, think again. If you want them, go to London.

Se cada vez que eu fosse á Primark me encontrasse rodeada pelos conjuntos que aparecem nos seus lookbooks, eu seria uma mulher feliz. Vi agora um pouco da sua colecção Outono Inverno 2011/2012, e3 quero comprar TUDO! Considerando que os preços são sempre relativamente acessíveis, seria de pensar que eu poderia de facto omprar tudo, certo? Errado. Se pensaram de forma diferente, então é óbvio que não conhecem a Primark Portugal. Deve ser a cadeia de lojas onde a roupa feia vem morrer. Nunca vi uma única peça dos seus lookbooks á venda cá em Portugal, nem uma. Esperem, minto. Estão a ver o anel pavão da colecção de Verão deste ano? Pois é, vi esse á venda, e quase o comprei, mas não havia o meu tamanho. De modo que vou aqui deixar as imagens do lookbook para vosso deleite, mas se estão a pensar comprar alguma destas peças em Portugal, pensem duas vezes. Se as querem vão a Londres.

Coral and Blue

Colour blocking as mad, yes, that's me this spring. A likely combination of coral and blue is enough to set my spirits high, and yes, I do love these pants. And these blue sandals.

Blocos de cor á doida, sim sou eu esta primavera. Uma combinação agradável de coral e azul é quanto baste para me pôr feliz, e sim, adoro estas calças. E estas sandálias.

A mix of black, brown and yellow will always make me think of tigers...

Stormy weather

I like wearing taupe when there's stormy weather, and pairing my suede taupe cowboy boots with a taupe blouse and black leggings and cardi seemed natural enough, comfy, pretty and classy. Perfect for a stormy day.

Gosto de usar o tom toupeira quando o tempo está nublado e tempestuoso, e combinar as minhas botas de camurça toupeira com uma blusa do mesmo tom, leggings e cardigan pretos pareceu-me natural, confortável, bonito e cheio de classe. Perfeito para um dia de tempestade.

White

White will make me look fatter, voices will rise and say. I couldn't care less, as I love an all white ensemble, it is so very chic and "summer at the Hamptons", that I cannot resist it - despite the danger of  looking like Moby Dick.

Branco fará com que pareça mais gorda, irão as vozes dizer. Quero lá saber, vito que adoro um look branco total, é tão chique, tão "Verão em The Hamptons", que eu não consigo resistir-lhe - apesar do perigo de parecer a Moby Dick.

Working girl attire

I like the combination of slate grey with black, be it winter or summer, to me it looks cool and elegant, and sometimes, that is just what one needs at the work place...

Gosto da combinação de cinza escuro com preto, seja de verão ou de inverno, a mim parece-me elegante e arrojado, e por vezes é exactamente o que se precisa no local de trabalho.

Summer dress

I love this old Blanco dress too much. It is comfy, fresch, and the colours are what I like for summer, so I tend to wear it a lot at summer weekends.

Adoro este velho vestido da Blanco demais. É comfortável, fresco,  e as cores são mesmo as que eu gosto para o Verão, por isso acabo sempre por usá-lo muito nos fins de semana de Verão.

Summer in the city II

I find this combo really attractive and chic, to me it goes well from a work day into a late afternoon drink with friends or dinner and cinema with someone special. It can also work as a weekend attire, provided one changes the handbag for one a bit more casual. All pieces by Asos, Accessorize and Blanco.

Este conjunto é para mim super chique e atraente, funciona bem como roupa de trabalho que pode depois servir para ir tomar um copo com as amigas ou seguir directamente para um jantar e cinema com alguém especial.
